Smeg's Small Space Washer With Sink

012109Smeg.jpgHere's a small space design we'd like to see make it's way Stateside, the Smeg LBL16RO Washing Machine with sink. The cute pink washer comes equipped with 15 programmed wash cycles, wash load capacity of 5 kg, an LCD display, anti-flood/foaming features, and a 31X33X13 cm ontop of it all, making this our dream small apartment washing machine.

One of these and clothes line for drying would be this renter's dream team. Alas, today I'll be hauling a huge bag of laundry to wash down the street instead, only wishing something as diminutive and cute as the Smeg was sitting in our kitchen area. More details below or at the Smeg site.

I'd put it in my bathroom instead of my kitchen--that sink doesn't look very dishwater friendly. Does it re-use the grey water from the sink?
