We're visual people. And for us, sometimes a picture can communicate much more information than our words allow. That's where Skitch comes in. Skitch is an image program for Mac OSX that makes capturing any image on your screen a breeze. From grabbing something on a website or with your webcam... to annotating any photo you have on your machine, this is a pretty powerful and useful tool. We haven't explored every facet of the program, but we love the line smoothing and the simple name and drag save function.
The downside, it's currently in beta, so you need an invite to try it out. We love to share, but unfortunately we only get two invites. Here's our rules, the first two users to join our AT:HT Flickr group and post a photo of either their home office or AV setup will get the invites. Just remember it's only for Mac OSX, but we promise, it's totally worth the little bit of work. But don't just take our word for it, check out the introductory video after the jump.

I wish I could do it! Windows only right now...moving to Mac next, but not sure when that will happen.

It's a fun littler program. Very easy too use, although I wish I the text could curve.

um, what could be easier than hitting the print screen key on your windows keyboard?

You could stop jumping through hoops for people who MUST make everything a popularity contest. Download from Demonoid, evaluate it and move on. Overrated? Maybe, but at least I didn't make you do ANYTHING to win it with my post.

Thanks for sharing Djlucky, as we only had two invites we thought it would only be fair to share them with someone who put forth some effort. If we had more, we would have done the same, and have in the past with our Joost invites. It's nothing to do with popularity or hoops, just simply encouraging others to join our community.
And...at the moment, no one has braved the Flickr community, and we still have two invites left...I'm willing to share with anyone who emails me at kelly (at) apartmenttherapy dot com.
