UNIQLOCK: Idiosyncracy Meets Japan In This Clever Clock Screensaver

022409_an_uniqlock.jpgIt's been a while since we've added a new pick in our ultimate collection of sweet screensaver finds. We stumbled upon this screensaver as we were going through a few of our international blogs, only to discover (though not too unsurprisingly) that they've got some mighty interesting ways of advertising over in Tokyo, Japan.

A standout among the flock is a unique little self-updating desktop screensaver by UNIQLO. Full of a seemingly endless stream of artistic commercial visions and energy, accompanied by a real-time clock and jazzy soundtrack, it's one of the most mesmerizing screensavers we've seen in a long time.

It kind of reminds us of that interactive IKEA room experience launched a while back. The only difference being there's no cool little screensaver download available.

We've tried installing it on both a PC running Windows XP and a Macbook running Leopard and found no hiccups. However, our laptop running Windows Vista wouldn't install correctly, which is kind of a bummer since this is the one I use to do most of my work. I guess I'll just have to watch the cool little iterations in my browser for now. If anyone finds a workaround, please let other Vista users know (or maybe it's just me) in the comments.

You can grab the awesome screensaver over at their UNIQLOCK download site.
