According to the designer, Dirk Winkel, the unique shape is for both ergonomics and sound quality. The larger head provides the space needed for a subwoofer, while the horn end serves as a bass reflex tube. The curved shape allows for different carrying configurations, either over the shoulder or as a belt. Call us crazy, but blasting our music in the comfort of our own home is a more attractive option than forcing our musical tastes on innocent bystanders.
