In Case You Missed It: Vers 2x Wood iPod Speaker Dock

ant-vers.jpgOur buds at Re-nest found an amazing speaker dock made from sustainably-managed plantations and I thought I'd mention it since I saw it Target the other day and thought it would look absolutely amazing on my living room entryway shelf. Boasting a class D amplifier, 20 watts per channel, additional ports to support other MP3 players, and a remote filled with options, you're looking at one top notch gadget.

The speaker is available for $179.

Feel free to grab one at Target.com.

If you buy it from sharper image please but the warranty. My wife bought one for me and 2 months later....NO SOUND! She returned it and was told to get the warranty because once it passed 90 days you cant return it to the store. Sounds great though and the remote is awsome and it looks super!

Look! It's cheap(er) at Costco. $119. That includes shipping, but not tax.

the one at costco isn't as pretty. It doesn't have the mesh on the front. It's also available at jandr.com for $149 including shipping (and mesh).

If you order it at Versaudio.com, there are different wood finish options, and free shipping... and the people who run the whole production are SUCH a pleasure to buy from!

I purchased mine from Amazon for under $120 when it was on sale. It worked for about 2 months then lost sound. Customer service was great. They sent me a prepaid UPS label to return and I had the replacement unit within 2 days of their receipt. No problems so far. I had heard on previous reviews that the losing sound problem had been resolved.
