Everyone has the same dilemma when it comes to earphones: what to do with them when you aren't listening to your iPod? There are a few choices, like bunching them up into a ball or wrapping them around the mp3 player, but none of them are good. This is by far the easiest way that earphones get broken. The Holeder Earphones are an ingenious design by Yoonsang Kim to solve this dilemma.
The Holeder Earphone lets you link the earpieces of your headphones behind your neck and wear them as a necklace. They stay pristine and always at hand ready to be worn once again. The actual design of the earphones is also quite impressive. The two pieces form a loose 'b'.
The only concern that we have is that the ambient noise might filter through the earpieces quite easily. Once that problem has been solved or if it already has been addressed, these in-ear headphones would make a nice stylish addition.

or get the DLO Jam Jacket that has a built in cord and ear bud holder...

I have a pair of Sennheiser buds that have magnets on the back that essentially does the same thing.
This looks really uncomfortable for the ear!

Those look very snazz, but the curve might not fit in the conches of all?
When I have to pop an earbud out for a bit to interact with a person (gasp! ;) ) I just run the cord over the top of my ear (like...perching a pencil above the ear) and let the bud hang briefly. That or I thread it through my stretched earlobe to get a rise out of the squares :)
