PodSpot: An Industrial Size iPod Dock

090208_podspot_01.jpgiPod docks are a dime a dozen, but this dock really sets itself apart from the rest by being extremely large and powerful. The PodSpot is an industrial sized speaker designed to be used with your iPod and any other MP3 player. It's splash proof and is designed to be rugged enough to be used for outdoor events.

 
 

090208_podspot_02.jpgYou'd expect such a large set of speakers to be plugged in, but surprisingly it's battery-powered. It has two 10" subwoofers and one set of batteries will let you play your music for about 24 hours. The speakers can hit 115 dB of sound. That will be enough to attract attention pretty much anywhere you go with them. The PodSpot was designed by Edelweiss Industrial Design.
