Hair dryers are one of those things that we just never know how to store. It always ends up being the cumbersome item under the sink that gets thrown on top of the rolls of toilet paper, box of tampons, and toilet cleaning supplies. Not the best way to keep things organized down there. What about tying a nice and simple ribbon at the handle and hanging it on a hook?
Decor8 recently blogged about the rooms available at West London hotel, High Road House. One of the images from the hotel includes this simple solution for hanging up your hair dryer once you've dried.
One hiccup is that you either have to own a really beautiful and décor-friendly hair dryer that doesn't stand out too much in your room, or you need to figure out how to have a similar solution within a bathroom cabinet. Maybe a hook on the inside of your cabinet door that then holds your ribboned dryer?

I like to keep my hair dryer and curling iron in a lidded basket, which resides on the floor beneath the pedestal sink. I have a travelers heatproof sleeve for the iron, so I can store it in the basket immediately after use. A friend of mine had a ceramic pot that she kept hers in, which looked nice too.

I hang my hair dryer from an "S" hook on a rod. The ribbon looks pretty but the "S" hook is less fussy.

This is inspiring. I hate my "cord through the cabinet door and thrown on the box of travel toiletries" approach.

I have a hook on the side of a small table in my bedroom where the hairdryer hangs (I don't dry my hair in the bathroom). You can't see it at all and it never gets tangled.

My hair dryer has a little wicker basket, but at beauty shops I've seen a little spiral-y metal caddy that screws into the wall. I think that would be a good solution as well.

I have a metal towel rack, so I just use a green (similar color to my walls) metal carabiner to hang my hair dryer. Costs a buck!
