On the top, the Sunbeam Clock from Target, and on the bottom, the Binary LED clock from Think Geek. They are not to scale relative to the landing strip (both are about 1' in diameter).
Being the geeks we are, we're considering getting a binary clock for our living room. We need a practical clock in the bathroom for getting ready in the morning, which we now have (check it out after the jump), so we could do something fun in the living room. We're deciding between these two and we'll put it on the wall above.
Details about how we're going to hang what where are after the jump...
We're going to hang the print, and compliment the clock with a small, black decorative mirror, to the left of the print. The binary clock would have to go on the bottom because it plugs in, and the Sunbeam could go above or below the mirror. We also have a giftcard for Target, so we wouldn't have to spend the money ourselves. However, binary could be fun, even though we'd have to learn it to tell time...
The ThinkGeek binary clock is $50, and the Sunbeam Clock from Target is $35, although it would be $0 for us with our giftcard. Here's the layout of the room if that helps. This is the 7' wall in the living room. Also, it didn't show up very black, but the lamp shade is black, as is the frame on the print.
Want to learn to tell Binary time? ThinkGeek has a tutorial.
This is the clock (pictured on the right) that we got for the bathroom as we have a large vanity; it's 50% off if you can still find it in the store ($17.50), in the clearance section of the Global Home area.
Can i just say the access panel is killing me, i'd hang the (great btw) poster over it and center the lamp.
Also, props on that tasty jamesons on the bottom shelf.
I like the atomic ball clock, fun.

I don't know why this isn't letting me vote, but I say the sunbeam clock.

Dahlia,
I know, it's bugging me too! It's not as obvious from most points in the room, and I didn't put the lamp in front of it to cover it up, it just works the best for the room balance and using it as a landing strip. I'd have to really think about putting the lamp in the middle and get used to it first...but I'll think about it.
Thanks!
