Survey: Do You Twitter?

Some call it microblogging. Recording all the minutia of your everyday life for the world to see. Twitter defines itself as a community of friends and strangers answering one question "What are you doing?" So, we wondered do AT: Home Tech readers twitter and if so what do you use it for? Entertainment or does it serve a higher purpose? Let us know in the comments.

For the most part, pure time-waster. Nice when you get IRL friends together on there to set plans quickly.

Also, there are a few people doing interesting things with it, like short pieces of fiction (such as http://twitter.com/junkdnafiction ), as well as a couple helpful items (my favorite is http://twitter.com/timer ).

The main thing I like it for is a sort of insider look at some organizations (added Several Adobe employees for example).

Yup. Enjoy it but am not an addict. Made some friends who've given me good tech tips and support.

I can see how it would work for some people, but it doesn't (imo) do anything so amazingly different from any other free blogging software that I feel at all motivated to change.
