Survey: Mousepad or No Mousepad?

After taking a look at the recent Flickr Finds, we noticed a lot more people are tossing away their mousepads and using their mice right on their desks. This got us thinking.

a glass desk and an optical mouse just don't mix, so i had to throw a mousepad on here. At home i have a laser mouse, but my desk is made from a piece of milled steal and i don't want to scratch the mouse all up, and it has a bit too much drag, so that one gets one too.

My optical mouse doesn't play well with my desk, so I have a sad and boring blue mousepad for it.
