You're missing a multi-OS option! These days there are likely to be many Mac users (myself included) who run Windows right alongside Mac OS X, thanks to Bootcamp and Parallels and other virtualization options for Intel-based Macs.

I agree -- we run all three at our place. Our server is a Linux box (it is awesome and hasn't gone down in two years), our Mac Mini is connected to the TV, one Mac laptop (pre-Intel), a Dell laptop running Windows and finally, one last desktop PC that also is running Windows. We even have a couple of virtual desktops on a few of the machines, expanding their capability. Overall, I say that Linux is the best and the Mac, although Macs are pretty solid and extremely user-friendly.

Agreed - we are a dual OS household as well.

I just love that right click option. I can use both computers quite well and feel that Windows has just as much creativity as a Mac, minus the stylishness. I love Windows cause its something I feel the most comfortable with and honestly is the easiest to use.

Even if i only have Linux on my computers, i think knowing about what's going on on the other platforms it's kinda nice. It's good to have an open wide point of view thanks to websites like this :)

We have a PC, a G4, and a Titanium laptop. So 2 out of 3 for the apple logo.

I prefer Mac OS but will use Windoze in a pinch. Haven't used Vista yet but since so much is copied from OSX should have no problem using it.

I've been using Windows XP Professional on my two main PC's and Windows 2000 Professional on my three old machines with no problems for years now.

I have absolutely NO INTEREST in using Windows Vista. I'll consider it after a service pack update... or two. Vista is looking to be perhaps the greatest albatross in personal computing history. We'll see.

Apple computers are fine things, but I like the "tweakability" of my Windows based machines. I'm strange like that. I have a vintage Mac classic, that I haven't used it in awhile. It should make a lovely planter. ^_^;

As for Linux, the early versions were pretty unruly for me. I'm considering turning my oldest PC into a Linux box. My guess it will run better than Vista by a large margin.

I also have an Atari 800 that is still running fine. It's strange seeing that old system on a 32" LCD screen, lol.

Sometimes you have no control over what you use at work (xp fer me and my partner). If you are prone to taking work home, the transfer is seamless if your systems are the same. We've just opted to keep the system: it does exactly what we need it to do anyway for our day-to-day stuff.

We have a comodore 64 in the basement and when my brother comes over, the sibling rivalry continues on games like Seamus and Summer Games... anyone else remember those?

You can right click on a mac. This is a misconception that is 10+ years old. I bought my first mac a year ago (I am a programmer) and I don't plan on going back to Windows.

Ubuntu Linux and other flavors of Linux here.

I'm a Mac OS X and Kubuntu Linux girl here..... Though I'd say my main allegiance is to Linux... I just bought a Mac because they do make quite a nice laptop.
