By using the 34 centimeter high bench as the central design element, modular elements like seating and storage cupboards can be placed on top and easily accessible. One or more work surfaces can also be extended perpendicular to the bench to allow for individual or even face to face seating. The best part of this design is that cable baskets are incorporated into the bench structure. This means no exposed cords or the need to place the desk next to an outlet so that you have a spot to plug in your desk lamp.

We can see this just as much at home in an open concept design office as in a home office.
