Schulte Design's Workstation 1

unplggdschultedesign01.jpgThe Kitchen Workstation 1 by Schulte Design acknowledges more and more people are now utilizing computer equipment in the kitchen, both for cooking and non-cooking resources or entertainment ("Wanna check out Digg while the pot roast is cooking?"). More photos of this dual duty surface below the jump...

unplggdschultedesign02.jpgThe Kitchen Workstation 1 is the ultimate kitchen office workspace, constructed from a customizable selection of beautiful woods that provide not only a sizable food preparation surface, but also somewhere to layout all your cooking tools and books. There is also a safe spot for your laptop hidden inside an opaque glass panel with power plugs to charge up the myriad of devices you may bring into your kitchen. The other end reveals a pull-out drawer with smaller compartments for utensil and/or peripheral storage. We'd probably make the gaffe of trying to plug our food processor with a USB cable, but still love all the storage options. How about a shorter office version?

This is amazing, and yet also unfair, I had been craving an home office setup similar to Mathew Melis but this if it were lower and with a good chair could become a real possibility!
