Sustainable: Aluminum Desk Will Last Forever, Hopefully

Cole wants us to know that he "makes highly sustainable furniture out of aluminum that involves no fasteners or moving parts." Also, his furniture will "last functionally for hundreds of years and it's aesthetically pleasing as well." Lookin' good there, Cole. Show us a price point that won't burn our pockets too much and you've got yourself a fan.

I looked through Cole's repertoire of furniture and it's rather stylish, but also too simple in many cases to meet the functionality needs of modern people. The desk pictured above is a case in point. It's little more than a table. Most people need a little more when they've got computers, keyboards, and misc. attachments.

I love the idea behind his work. I'd just like to see it implemented in pieces which addresses modern functionality needs rather than very basic table, chair and bed work.
