The Slimdesk: The Perfect Hideaway Desk to Get Rid of Clutter

112608_rg_slimdesk_01.jpgWe know you have clutter. Anyone who works from a desk will have some form of clutter on it. It might be temporary, or it might just grow with time. It all depends on how you manage your workflow. Needless to say that most people's desks are pretty cluttered, ours included. There are piles of everything in stacks on our desks, sometimes we just can't make heads or tails out of it. Thankfully, there is a solution to decluttering you desk. It's called the Slimdesk.

112608_rg_slimdesk_02.jpgThis computer desk is designed by Manualsaez, the firm behind the Daybed workstation lounge chair. This desk is filled with features that make it the perfect desk for computing.

112608_rg_slimdesk_03.jpgThe Slimdesk provides convenient storage and technology management. It features a built-in power supply, USB dock , as well as data ports. You will also find a built-in speaker and microphone. All of these ports are conveniently placed within your reach when you are sitting at the desk. There are also a pair of sliding panels to keep technology out of sight. These also provide storage space below the work area. They are large enough to fit laptops. There is some convenient cable management hiding inside a leg of the desk. Another great feature is the articulated mechanical arm to mount an LCD monitor. These things are great and enable you to move your screen around in a lot of different ways. At first glance, this desk doesn't look like much, but once you've see all of the built-in features, you'll wonder how you ever managed without them [via Yanko Design]
