Even though (Product) Red has somewhat monopolized the hue to designate products that donate to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, we still find red reminiscent of the 80s. Maybe it's just us, but we remember red being the color of the decade that brought us Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Devo, and Mikhail Gorbachev. So to honor the time we grew up in, we give you gadgets of all types in corvette red, blood red, Cabernet, and every saturation thereafter.

The Eton Red Cross thing really irritates me. Red Cross organisations are meant to make sure that non-approved organisations do not use their logo so as to minimise potential for confusion in war zones etc. You can argue about how sensible this policy is - they've been known to go after video game makes for using red crosses. But the fact that the American Red Cross, which pays its CEO half a million bucks, is resorting to this shilling really annoys me.

Saw all of the red things and it reminded me of it since mine is 80s red, too! Cool post, and luv the red pentax, very unique in this world of silver cameras.
