The Hand in Hand Clock Gives Time a New Spin

052709_tf_handhandclock1.jpgLet's hear it for thinking outside the circle. Looking like some sort of crazy robotic arm, this gizmo is actually a really innovative clock design. Can you read what time the image above is revealing?

It looks to me to be some seconds past 1:50 in the image above. Can you see it now? Not for those sticklers who like to know the time down to the second, this clock gives a (slighty confusing) twist to time-reading by attaching the seconds hand to the end of the minutes hand, and connecting that to the twirling end of the hours hand that's attached to the wall.

Confused? Check out the interactive animation of the clock in action at its website, HandinHandClock.com.

I was wondering the same thing about the time reading... But I also wanted to say, I would buy this clock. I think it pretty much rocks.
