The basic hammer with a new spin. The handle is old school, but the head is where the high tech look and function is. The goal of this hammer was to reduce the stress placed on the arm, wrist and hand during prolonged use of a hammer. By creating the split head design, shock from striking the nail with the hammer is interrupted and subsequently dissipated. From the numerous awards that ATOMdesign has received for this hammer, it looks like they have succeeded. Would not mind having this for our upcoming house renovation project.
