Best of: Exposed Media Tables

2008-2-5-dwrconsole.jpgIf you're brave enough to flaunt it, then you better have a media table that can hold its own. With your gear taking center stage, there's no room here for a rogue cord. Here's our finds for the best exposed media tables, including DWR's Min Media Stand for $850.

For the money, the Lack Shelving just beats the pants off most of those other units.

I like the DWR one, but an extra $110 for casters? Come on.

Lack beats the pants off until you want to put something resembling quality audio gear on it. Unfortunately the Lack pieces cannot take the weight of good gear.

I personally went with a very minimal and open Salamander Architype setup after dealing with units (including Lack) that were not really designed to hold equipment.

oops, looks like there's no editing of comments... the end of mine should say "would match our DWR Tavola table (http://www.dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=1483) which we use as a desk."
