Fans of pink tech toys should listen to the CNET podcast Gadgettes (http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-12552_7-6515274-1.html?tag=txt), which has a weekly spotlight on pink gadgets ("Pink Watch"). The feature exists mostly to mock the concept that manufacturers think the best way to make tech appealing to women is to put a pink coating on the gadget, but of course we all will make an exception for breast cancer awareness.

How about *one* color for *all* "cancer awareness".

The multicolored "you forgot 'my' color" thing is getting out of hand. It's all cancer and it's all deadly and it all needs more funding for research.

And by the way - what does "awareness" achieve?

I think everyone on the planet is "aware" of cancer.

We don't need more "awareness", we need more treatment options.
