Yes, we love having additional features with our doodads, but for most items a limitation of features often ends up being an asset for daily operation and use. A design should do one or two things very well, rather than do a lot of things at a mediocre level. Case in point: the Areaware 2B Radio's layout is old school chic, but that's a good thing. When we want to listen to Vin Sculley do the play-by-play, we want to turn on the radio, tune the dial and set the volume. Nothing more. The Areaware 2B Radio seems perfectly up to task, and also provides a warm of sound, thanks to three vacuum tubes visible and integrated into the retro design (photo under the jump)...
