BeoSound 3: Transistor Radio Receives A Futuristic Makeover

100809_an_beosound.jpgCombining a portable radio with a clock, digital playback abilities, and an integrated Class D amplifier to power its full-range loudspeaker, the BeoSound 3 is not just another iHome wannabe. Powered by a rechargable battery, there simply are no power cables or plugs - just pure supersonic bliss.

100809_an_beosound2.jpg100809_an_beosound3.jpgThe BeoSound 3 is available in aluminum and hits the frequencies of 60-20,000Hz (not bad for such a compact gizmo). It also features an SD slot, a headphone jack, and includes a wall bracket if you wish to mount it. It's available on Amazon for $499. You can read more about it here.

This was released in 2005...hardly new news. It's $500 and available on their website, not to mention Amazon.
