We love the radio. But not all of our local stations have gone the way of the internet. Griffin's Radio Shark 2 allows us to listen to AM and FM radio, and record our favorite programs without having to be there to hear them. It's a digital radio recorder.
We like that we could create our own "podcast" of sorts from our own local programming. No more perusing the web for something that we like, we get our hometown favorites when and how we want them.
I had this around a year or two ago.
The reception was pretty awful. hopefully its improved since then.
Unless they fixed the reception problem of the first Radio Shark, this thing is pretty much worthless.
My Radio Shark collects dust.

What's radio without reception?
I have the earlier iteration in white (which I prefer bc it looks awesome w/ my alubooks and my new 24" iMac. I get great reception. I love it: it's tivo for radio.
