Sony's E Series Walkman

These could make us want to give up our iPod. Sony just released this new version of their Walkman in Japan, and they have been popping up all over the blogosphere. The skinny on these tiny MP3 players is that they'll come in 1-4 GB, double as a USB drive, and cost somewhere in the range of $92-167.

We think its display looks pretty sleek and its small size wins points with us, as well. We're not sure how Sony's interface compares with Apple's, but if it's any good we might be swayed to return to the way of the walkman. (via Crave.)

I love my iPods but this is cool. Although it does sort of track back to the G1 Shuffle.
