Tivoli take notice, the Vita Audio R2 is fast on your trail... at least design-wise. However, Vita uses wood veneer rather than the real stuff. This radio is available in walnut veneer or ivory gloss on top of compressed wood fiber (reportedly known for its good acoustic properties.)

The Vita Audio R2 radio features both FM and digital tuning, and comes with all the standard radio features. Of note are the gold-plated inputs and an output for recording. We like the flexibility of using either a radio dial (on top) or a remote.

For now, this radio is only available in the UK, but Chip Chick reports that Firebox will be carrying a comparable model very soon.
