Bang & Olufsen Beo5

2007-09-11-bobeo5.gifComplete control. That's what Bang & Olufsen promises with its Beo5 remote. What does it control? Well B&O claims that it will program just about anything, from air conditioners to a security system. They're a little sketchy with the details, except for confirming that it will work with all current and future B&O devices.

The remote has a touchscreen with twelve programable buttons, and a universal control below. How one goes about programming these buttons is also left unclear. We imagine you may have to go to the store to get these programmed. We also imagine these will cost you a pretty penny.

Now if it could program my cats to puke only on the kitchen floor, I'd spring for it.

B&O seems like over priced fluff to me. Why not get something like a Harmony or Pronto?
