Glasses for Screen Addicts Force You to Blink

102709_tf_winkglasses.jpgI like to call 'em "Guitar Hero Eyes." It's that feeling you get when you focus your eyes on a complicated screen for too long. It always happens to me watching those colored notes slide down the LCD TV...

That feeling is usually the result of not blinking enough. Whenever you're focused on a screen, or even the pages of a book, your eyes naturally blink less.

Wink Glasses aim to prevent that lack of blinking and keep your peepers in top shape!

When the person wearing these funny-looking goggles takes a blink break that's longer than five seconds, a transparent liquid crystal sensor attached to the frame turns the glass in front of your eyes opaque. You'll be forced to blink naturally. Once you do, the lens clears itself.

Wink glasses come from Japanese company Masunaga Optical and retail for 40,950 yen, or $445.
