Hitachi: 1.5 Inches of UltraThin LCD Goodness

hitachi_15ultrathin.jpgIt's mind boggling how thin televisions have become over the span of just a few years. Just when we thought television sets couldn't possibly get much thinner, Hitachi goes out and proves us wrong. I'm sure they're thinking, "Silly people, we won't stop until we get paper thin - no, nanopaper thin!" Either way, we're equally impressed.

Hitachi's newest and thinnest models to be released in the US comes in 32", 37", 42", and 47" sizes and should be available around September. Prices for the 32"-47" models will range from $1,799 and $4,699.
