LG LED TVs: Thinner, Better, Faster, Stronger

081009_lg-sl90.jpgIt seems not too long ago that TV upgrades only came every half decade or so. Nowadays, we're presented with revision after revision, boasting minuscule upgrades with hefty price tags. With the introduction of these new LED TVs from LG, that may not seem to be changing much from the norm. Except for maybe the fact that these babies are probably the sexiest gems to hit the market since the introduction of the flat screen itself. Ultra-thin and super quick; these new screens plan to revolutionize the industry all over again.

081009_lg-sl902.jpgAt a mere 1.15-inches thin, it still has a ways to go in order to match JVC's recently announced 0.27-inch thick LED screen seen earlier this year at CES 2009. Aside from the standard Full HD 1080p, the SL90’s LED display technology provides enhanced picture quality and even better energy efficiency. LG plans to release these guys later this year in 42- and 47-inches. MSRPs to be announced.
