Although we'd be working for a few months to be able to afford this, it's always fun to take a look at the newest, hottest gadgets...this time, courtesy of Pioneer's 50" 1080p Plasma TV.
Pioneer's 1080p 50" Plasma
Intended initially for movie industry professionals editing Blu-ray Disc, Pioneer notes in it's press release, "The Pioneer PDP-5000EX is one of the few plasma monitors capable of accepting and displaying the 1080p 24Hz rate needed to preserve a feature films original sequence."
The PDP-5000EX was previously only available in Japan and Europe; it's about time the movie-making capital of the world gets a TV worthy of the movies we make!
No word on the exact price, but as previous models have shown, this will definitely set you back many, many, very large, very pretty pennies.
