The Great LEGO USB Hub

021309_rg_legousbhug_01.jpgThis seems to be a week filled with LEGOs. Maybe it's the upcoming midterms, but I have got LEGOs on my brain. After the LEGO cell phone, the LEGO PC and the LEGO electronics, it's time for computer accessories. I'm all for LEGOs invading my life, but this is getting kind of ridiculous, is it? Or are you just loving it?

021309_rg_legousbhug_02.jpgHow in the world would anyone fit a 4-port USB hub into a itty-bitty teeny-weeny LEGO brick? Before you get out your toys and measuring tape, let me just tell you that the brick used in this USB hub is a DUPLO brick, one of those over-sized ones for toddlers. That's good, that way there is no danger of you swallowing your LEGO USB hub.

Thankfully, this isn't a 50-step Instructables to make your own, it's actually something that you can buy. However, this is one expensive USB hub. You'll have to shell out $50 to get it. At our sophisticated Unplggd testing center, we've actually figured out that you could technically stack these USB hubs in order to assemble a larger hub. How neat is that? [via Gizmodo]

I heart legos. can you stack them without using a cord, or does there need to be a jumper wire?

One more lego post. Seriously. Knock it off. It's a gone FAR beyond banal.

Let it be what it is...a fantastic child's toy.

"Oh, look at me! I did something (creative?) with legos! I'm so clever!" bragged the thirty-something loser.
