Windows Keyboard Shortcuts

2007-06-22-windows-alt.jpg

Did you know that the Windows key is useful for more than just opening your start menu? We didn't, and we've been using Windows for years and years.

Turns out it also can be a shortcut key. You can also find other shortcut info on F-keys and the Control+letter options as well all on the same page. Our new favorite? Windows+M minimizes all the open windows...great when someone's coming up behind you and you don't want them to see what you've got open, when you're gift shopping, or when your boss is coming!

Thanks, Mr Conguito, for the great photo.

The ones I use most often are Win-E (Explorer), Win-D (Desktop), Win-R (Run...) and Win-L (Lock)...

Others, I never use:
Win-U (Utility Manager)
Win-F (Find)
